ApplyPilot processes information strictly locally on your browser using Chrome’s secure chrome.storage.local API. The data stored locally on your device includes:

– Application Documents: Resume PDF files (converted to local Base64 storage arrays on your machine).
– Custom Snippets: Cover letters, pitches, and answers to common job application questions.
– Custom Fields: Dynamic labels and keyword rules defined by you for specific job board questions.
Important: None of your personal data, profile information, or resume files are ever transmitted, synced, or uploaded to ucdreams.com servers or any third-party server.
3. How ApplyPilot Uses Webpage Data
When you open ApplyPilot while viewing a job application webpage:
– ApplyPilot inspects the DOM elements (input field IDs, names, placeholders, and labels) on the active tab solely to identify relevant form fields for auto-filling.
– When you click “Autofill Page” or drag a resume card onto a file dropzone, ApplyPilot inserts your saved information into the designated form inputs on that specific webpage.
– ApplyPilot does not monitor, record, track, or store your browsing history, web traffic, keystrokes, or activities on unrelated web pages.
4. Third-Party Sharing & Telemetry
– No Third-Party Analytics: ApplyPilot contains no tracking scripts, Google Analytics, or external advertising SDKs.
– No Remote Code Execution: ApplyPilot complies 100% with Manifest V3 security standards and executes no remote JavaScript or WebAssembly.
– No Data Selling: We do not sell, transfer, or distribute user data to third parties, data brokers, or advertising networks under any circumstances.
5. Security & Data Control
You retain 100% control over your data at all times. Because your data is stored locally in your browser’s sandbox:

– Uninstalling the ApplyPilot extension permanently removes all saved profiles, resumes, and custom fields from your device.
