Why Choose UC Dreams Meet?

Ultra-lightweight peer-to-peer conferencing engineered with direct browser-to-browser WebRTC mesh technology. Zero media servers, zero time limits, and absolute privacy.

100% Peer-to-Peer Mesh

Media streams flow directly between participants via DTLS/SRTP WebRTC encrypted peer connections. No intermediary cloud server captures, inspects, or relays your video.

4K Screen Sharing & Audio

Share full screens, single application windows, or browser tabs with crystal-clear 60fps frame rates and synchronized system audio playback.

In-Call P2P File Drop (AirDrop)

Send PDFs, images, archives, and videos directly to attendees inside the call. Streams at maximum local Wi-Fi speeds with zero file size caps and no cloud uploads.

Live Captions & Minutes Exporter

Enjoy real-time on-device speech-to-text captions with instant one-click export of complete timestamped meeting transcripts (.TXT / .SRT).

Collaborative Notes & Agenda

Collaborate on meeting notes, action items, and shared scratchpads synchronized in real-time between participants, exportable as Markdown (.md).

Free Local HD Recording

Record full meetings with mixed audio tracks locally via the MediaRecorder API. Save the final WebM/MP4 recording directly to your computer’s desired folder.

Technical Architecture & Security

Learn how UCDreams delivers zero-latency, private peer-to-peer conferencing without cloud media servers.

1

WebRTC Full Mesh Topology

Traditional meeting software routes every user’s audio and video through centralized cloud servers. UC Dreams Meet utilizes a true WebRTC Mesh Architecture where participants negotiate direct peer-to-peer media streams with each other for true zero-latency performance.

2

End-to-End DTLS 1.2 / SRTP Encryption

Every video and audio packet is encrypted at the sender’s browser using Secure Real-time Transport Protocol (SRTP) with keys exchanged over Datagram Transport Layer Security (DTLS 1.2). No intermediary server can decrypt or view your calls.

3

SCTP Multiplexed DataChannels

In addition to media streams, each peer maintains an encrypted SCTP DataChannel. Files, chat messages, collaborative notes, and live captions are broadcasted directly between peer browsers with sub-millisecond delivery.

4

Local MediaRecorder & Storage

Recording occurs entirely on your device using the browser’s hardware-accelerated MediaRecorder API and AudioContext destination nodes. When you finish recording, the lossless WebM/MP4 video saves directly to your computer.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Common questions about free peer-to-peer video calling, screen sharing, and recording.

Is there any time limit on video calls?
No. Because media streams flow directly peer-to-peer with zero server bandwidth costs, there are no artificial time limits (unlike Zoom’s 40-minute or Google Meet’s 60-minute limits). You can talk, present, and collaborate for as long as you need for free.
How does in-call direct P2P file sharing work?
Files are transferred directly between peer browsers over encrypted SCTP WebRTC DataChannels in chunks. Files are never uploaded to any server or cloud storage, making transfers instantaneous and completely private.
Are my video calls encrypted and private?
Yes! Every video and audio packet is encrypted at your browser using Secure Real-time Transport Protocol (SRTP) with keys exchanged over DTLS 1.2. No third party or intermediary server can intercept or inspect your calls.
Where are meeting recordings and transcripts stored?
Recordings, notes, and speech-to-text transcripts are processed 100% locally in your browser memory and downloaded directly to your local folder on your device. Nothing is ever stored on any server.
Does this tool work on mobile phones (iPhone & Android)?
Yes! UC Dreams Meet runs directly in Safari on iOS and Chrome on Android with zero app installations. You can switch between front selfie and rear document cameras with a single tap.
