WordPress Care Plans- Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all WordPress Care Plans provided by UC Dreams (“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing or continuing any care plan, you agree to the terms below.

1. General Scope of Service
Our WordPress Care Plans are maintenance and support services, not full website redesign or unlimited development services.

The plans are designed to:

  • Keep your website secure
  • Keep it updated
  • Help with small, ongoing content and form-related changes
  • Any work outside the listed plan inclusions may require additional charges.

2. Definition of “Content Updates”
Content updates include simple changes only, such as:

  • Text edits
  • Image replacements
  • Adding or removing existing content
  • Updating links
  • Minor formatting changes

Content updates do NOT include:

  • New page or section design (unless explicitly included)
  • Custom design work
  • Complex layout changes
  • Website redesigns
  • Theme changes or migrations
  • Unused content updates do not carry forward to the next month.

3. Blog Posting & Blog Content

If your plan includes blog posts:

  • You must provide the blog content (text & images) unless otherwise agreed
  • Posting includes formatting, publishing, and basic SEO setup
  • Blog writing or research is not included unless explicitly stated

4. Form & Email Checks
Form and email checks include:

  • Ensuring contact forms are submitting correctly
  • Ensuring emails are being delivered
  • Fixing basic form errors

This does not include:

  • Advanced integrations (CRM, payment gateways, automation tools)
  • Custom backend logic
  • Third-party API troubleshooting beyond basic setup

5. Form Updates (Form Development Updates)
Form updates include:

  • Adding or removing fields
  • Adjusting validation rules
  • Changing form layout or labels

Form updates do NOT include:

  • Building complex multi-step workflows
  • Custom-coded logic
  • Advanced integrations unless agreed separately
  • Unused form updates do not roll over.

6. New Section Development (Pro Plan Only)
New section development includes:

  • Adding up to 1 new section per month
  • Using the existing theme design system
  • Simple content-based sections

This does not include:

  • Full page creation
  • Custom animations
  • Custom-coded sections
  • Design mockups or brand redesigns

7. Website Updates & Plugin Updates

We will:

  • Update WordPress core
  • Update plugins
  • Monitor for update-related issues

However:

  • We are not responsible for issues caused by poorly coded third-party plugins
  • We may delay updates if they pose a security or compatibility risk

8. Website Optimization & Performance Monitoring
Basic Performance Monitoring (Business Plan)

  • Monitoring site speed and uptime
  • Identifying obvious performance issues

Website Optimization (Pro Plan)

  • Basic speed optimization
  • Image optimization
  • Caching configuration (where applicable)

This does not include:

  • Guaranteed PageSpeed scores
  • Server-level performance tuning
  • Major performance overhauls

9. Hosting (Pro Plan Only)
Managed Hosting includes:

  • Hosting for one WordPress website
  • Basic server management
  • Regular backups

Hosting does not include:

  • Email hosting
  • Domain registration
  • Custom server configurations

We are not responsible for:

  • Downtime caused by hosting providers
  • Third-party service failures

10. Security Monitoring & Backups

We provide:

  • Weekly backups
  • Security monitoring

However:

  • No system is 100% secure
  • We are not liable for damages caused by hacks, malware, or data loss beyond reasonable preventive measures

Clients are encouraged to keep their own copies of important data.

11. Priority Support Response

For plans with priority response:

  • Initial response within 24 business hours
  • Resolution time depends on issue complexity

This does not mean 24/7 live support.

12. Fair Usage Policy

All plans are subject to a fair usage policy.

This means:

  • Work requests must stay within reasonable limits
  • Repeated or excessive requests may be deferred or quoted separately
  • Abuse of support may result in service limitation or termination

13. What Is NOT Included (All Plans)

The following are not included unless quoted separately:

  • Website redesigns
  • Theme changes
  • Custom development
  • SEO services
  • Paid plugin licenses
  • Content writing (unless stated)
  • Emergency fixes outside business hours

14. Client Responsibilities

Clients must:

  • Provide timely content and access
  • Keep login credentials secure
  • Respond to queries when clarification is needed
  • Delays caused by missing information are not our responsibility.

15. Payments & Billing

  • All plans are billed monthly
  • Payments are non-refundable
  • Failure to pay may result in suspension of services

16. Cancellation Policy

  • Plans can be cancelled anytime
  • No refunds for partial months
  • Services stop at the end of the billing cycle

17. Limitation of Liability

UC Dreams is not liable for:

  • Loss of revenue
  • Business interruption
  • Third-party service failures
  • Client-provided content issues

18. Changes to Terms

  • We reserve the right to update these terms at any time.
  • Continued use of the service implies acceptance of updated terms.

Our goal is to provide reliable, honest, and professional WordPress care while maintaining clear boundaries so both sides have a smooth experience.
